2016: Most Snubbed Movies At The Oscars

Now that the 2016 Oscars are over and Mad Max is clearly the takeaway winner (which, I'm sad to say, I tried watching three different times and could never get into- I must be missing something) this seemed like the perfect time to list the most snubbed movies at the oscars this year. These were the films people talked about, recommended, sold out, and made everyone else in the world wonder how they missed the mark in the Academy Awards. 



Follows the journey of a young boy, Agu, who is forced to join a group of soldiers in an unnamed West African country. While Agu fears his commander and many of the men around him, his fledgling childhood has been brutally shattered by the war raging through his country, and he is at first torn between conflicting revulsion and fascination Depicts the mechanics of war and does not shy away from explicit, visceral detail, and paints a complex, difficult picture of Agu as a child soldier.


When drug violence worsens on the USA Mexico border, the FBI sends an idealistic agent, Kate Macer (Emily Blunt) on a mission to eradicate a drug cartel responsible for a bomb that had killed members of her team.

Their debut album with controversial tracks that represent the minorities insecurity, Straight Outta Compton became popular. Along with their concert trip journey and powerful friendship that get tightened every single day, the controversies from the tracks from their album forced them to face the authorities. Their journey turned them into the dark side of fame- sex, drugs, and self-insecurity, trigger a lot of life-changing events that are going after them. In this condition, they have to maintain themselves to avoid dangerous troubles that getting closer to them.


30 years after the defeat of Darth Vader and the Empire, Rey, a scavenger from the planet Jakku, finds a BB-8 droid that knows the whereabouts of the long lost Luke Skywalker. Rey, as well as a rogue stormtrooper and two smugglers, are thrown into the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the daunting legions of the First Order.


Based on a true story of James "Whitey" Bulger, an Irish Mob godfather and FBI informant who had a "secret trading" deal with his brother, William "Billy" Bulger, a state senator and a Boston public figure, and John Connolly, an FBI agent. They planned to take down the Italian mob and mafia in Boston, which went awry and things turned massively violent. When the credence for each other began fading out, drug dealing, murders, and extortion started to rise, and forced the FBI's Boston office to confirm that Whitey Bulger was one of the most notorious criminals in US history and also one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List criminals.
