I generally try to do 'natural' beauty treatments, but sometimes laziness wins and I just go with whatever I can buy from a shelf. I'm not really one to put in a ton of time combining all sorts of ingredients to make things from scratch, but these are all so easy and simple, you really have no reason not to give them a try. They are all 3 ingredients or less and very effective (and good for you, too!). Fast, simple, natural, easy, and cost-effective skin care? Seriously my favorite :)
5 Easy & Simple Natural Skin Care How-To Videos To Try
1. Natural Teeth Whitening with Activated Charcoal:
I tried this for the first time today and have to admit it worked extremely well. It's much better than the baking soda method, IMO and even left my gums feeling more healthy. I let it sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing, but some say you can even let it set for 10-15 minutes for more effectiveness.
2. Natural Lip Scrub with Coconut Oil and Sugar:
I did a quick test with this today, just using roughly equal parts sugar and unmelted coconut oil to make a paste. Not only did it work amazingly well at getting rid of the dark spots on my lips, but it also removed all of the tiny milia on my chin as well. Be sure to use a lip balm afterwards, however.
3. Natural Blackhead Removal with Baking Soda and Toothpaste:
I haven't tried this yet (need to run to the store for an extra toothbrush), but if these before and after pics are any indication, this is definitely an effective and easy solution.
4. Natural Facial Massage with Oil:
You can use any oil that you prefer that won't irritate or clog your skin, although she uses a cleansing oil. This massage helps to brighten, tone, improve circulation and as well as the texture of your skin.
5. Natural Forehead Wrinkle Removal with Sports Tape:
I know this solution seems really weird to most, but having used Frownies, I have to confess that this approach works incredibly well. I've never had injections, fillers or any other cosmetic procedure, but I'm mistaken for someone 10 years younger quite often. And sometimes, even more than 10 years younger on a really good day. Although I'm not really one to furrow my brow generally, somehow my forehead smooshes when I sleep and I end up waking up with horribly deep lines in my brow, so this solution helps prevent that. I haven't tried sports tape before, but if it works like Frownies and is much cheaper, it's definitely worth it.
